lyrics

I thought they killed the Prince of Peace back in the year 32 AD, but I was stumbling home from the bar, stopped in for a pee and saw someone I thought I'd never see. He was about 5'8" and his coat was wet and his mouth was kind of open and his face was red and he just sat there cool as a can while all around him shit was hitting the fan.

He's the Prince of Peace, he's the Prince of Peace. He's a real zen daddy, he's about 10 deep. He's seen his share of society. He's the Prince of Peace, He's the Prince of Peace and he's just trying to make it through the century. So sit down buddy and have yourself a dream.

I sat down next to his slumped physique. He ordered another round, he said "Make it three." I said "Excuse me partner, may I interject? Why do you take three when one will do the trick?" And just then with a loud crash and roar a republican and a democrat wrestled to the floor and the Prince of Peace handed a drink to each and said "That's poetry."

It's hard to say what happened next. A bunch of raging reformists came in and started busting people's heads. They were throwing people out the door, said they just weren't hardcore. The Prince of Peace was unabashed. He said "I too know what it feels like to be an outcast." And they said "That's great, join the ranks." And then they whopped his ass.
